Three arrested after police seize suspected cannabis at Mortimer Road property

Avon and Somerset Police say they have arrested three men after searching a home in Mortimer Road, Filton, at 8.30am this morning (Wednesday 22nd May). Neighbourhood officers were joined by patrol officers and specialists from the operations department to carry out a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Officers found plants being dried that they think are cannabis.

Suspected cannabis plants seized from house in The Sidings

Police seized 40 plants believed to be cannabis after searching a house in Filton as part of Operation Viscount. Officers searched the house on Wednesday 22nd August and found the plants growing in two bedrooms of the property in The Sidings [map]. A 21-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of producing cannabis and released on police bail pending
