A Filton barber is appealing for local residents to join his Movember charity fundraising team and is offering free moustache trims throughout November to anyone who signs up.
After raising an impressive £1,498 in 2013, £924 of which was raised through his Gloucester Road North shop, Mario Parrinello is hoping that this year’s Filton Barbers Moteam can break the £2,000 barrier.
Joining the team is easy – just make a £5 donation through ‘The Filton Barbers Moteam’ page on the official Movember.com website (directlink: uk.movember.com/team/1552857).
Anyone raising more than £100 for the charity will be entitled to a free haircut at The Filton Barbers, 3 Gloucester Road North, BS7 0SG.

“I think the Movember charity is perfect for the barbering industry, as moustaches and beards are something we deal with on a daily basis and we have a great opportunity to get the message across to the customer, even though cancer is not always an easy subject to talk about, but you would be surprised how easily the conversation flows when cutting hair!”
