Suspected cannabis plants seized from house in The Sidings

The Sidings, Filton, Bristol.

Police seized 40 plants believed to be cannabis after searching a house in Filton as part of Operation Viscount.

Officers searched the house on Wednesday 22nd August and found the plants growing in two bedrooms of the property in The Sidings [map].

A 21-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of producing cannabis and released on police bail pending forensic tests of the plants.

Filton neighbourhood PC Jenna Mead said:

“It is information from the community which is so important in helping us tackle drug crime. We always take such reports very seriously and act on them when we can.
